Hebrews #9 - 1:13-14, 2:1
Speaker Notes
Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury:
O GOD, who on this day didst teach the hearts of thy faithful people, by the sending to them the light of the Holy Spirit: Grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgement in all things, and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
Hebrews 1:13-14
13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet”?
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
